
TF Series Overview
The TF Series is a line of frequency-tuned RF absorber materials engineered to deliver maximum energy attenuation at discrete target frequencies between 2 and 18 GHz. Unlike broadband absorbers designed to cover a wide spectrum, TF Series sheets are precisely loaded to resonate at specific frequencies, making them ideal for applications where narrowband RFI suppression is required.
Each sheet is formulated using a silicone base loaded with carbonyl iron powder, then optimized in-house to deliver peak performance at a designated frequency. Commonly specified in filter cavities, RF modules, and sensitive measurement systems, the TF Series helps suppress standing waves, minimize resonances, and isolate harmonics without over-damping adjacent signals.
Designers use the TF Series to surgically target interference sources—such as known emitters, system harmonics, or cavity modes—within aerospace communication subsystems, commercial radar platforms, and high-frequency interconnects. Its precise tuning, mechanical flexibility, and thermal durability make it a preferred option for prototyping, lab validation, and volume production environments alike.
