AF Series Reticulated Foam RF Absorbers

Excellent broadband RF absorbers for 4.0 to 100+ GHz applications.

AF Series Reticulated Overview

The AF Series Reticulated Foam RF Absorber is a lightweight, open-cell polyurethane foam engineered for broadband attenuation from 4 to 100+ GHz. Its reticulated structure delivers excellent absorption performance across high-frequency bands, making it ideal for enclosures, chambers, and electronic systems where wideband RFI suppression is critical.

Unlike closed-cell foams, reticulated foam provides superior airflow and reduced reflection, allowing it to be used in designs where ventilation, weight reduction, and consistent performance are required. This absorber is often used in telecom infrastructure, test and measurement equipment, and 5G millimeter-wave applications, where stable, predictable attenuation is essential.

Available in sheet stock or custom-cut configurations, AF Series Reticulated Foam integrates easily into both small enclosures and large-scale test environments. Combined with our in-house fabrication services, customers receive ready-to-install absorber solutions that meet their frequency and dimensional requirements.
