The KU Series 0.045″ thick RF absorber material is an iron-loaded silicone elastomer optimized for the Ku band (12.0 to 18.0 GHz). Designed for superior cavity resonance reduction at higher microwave frequencies, the KU Series targets applications in VSAT satellite terminals, Ku-band radar, and high-frequency test and measurement equipment.

The KU Series is available in a single standard thickness of 0.045″, which is the optimized formulation and thickness combination for peak absorption across the 12.0 to 18.0 GHz range. For lower frequencies, see the XB Series (8.0 to 12.0 GHz). For higher frequencies, see the KB Series (18.0 to 27.0 GHz). For applications requiring a non-silicone alternative, consider the US Series acrylic elastomer.
