The TF Series 17.0 GHz tuned frequency RF absorber is an iron-loaded silicone elastomer engineered for maximum attenuation at 17.0 GHz. Unlike broadband absorbers that cover a range of frequencies, TF Series materials are formulated with a specific thickness and loading level to deliver peak absorption at a single target frequency.

At 0.041″ thick with a density of 3.250 g/cm³, this material targets the upper Ku band near the Ku/K band transition. For broadband Ku-band coverage, see the KU Series. For applications requiring a non-silicone alternative, consider the US Series acrylic elastomer.
