The TF Series 18.0 GHz tuned frequency RF absorber is an iron-loaded silicone elastomer engineered for maximum attenuation at 18.0 GHz. Unlike broadband absorbers that cover a range of frequencies, TF Series materials are formulated with a specific thickness and loading level to deliver peak absorption at a single target frequency.

At 0.040″ thick with a density of 3.250 g/cm³, this is the thinnest TF Series product, reflecting the reduced material depth required for peak absorption at higher frequencies. It targets the Ku/K band boundary at 18.0 GHz. For broadband coverage at this frequency and above, see the KU Series (12.0 to 18.0 GHz) or KB Series (18.0 to 27.0 GHz). For applications requiring a non-silicone alternative, consider the US Series acrylic elastomer.
