The US Series 0.040″ thick RF absorber material is the thickest standard option in the 3PB Solutions US Series line of non-silicone RF absorber materials. Manufactured with a proprietary magnetic-loaded acrylic elastomer, US Series RF absorber materials provide broadband absorption from 0.5 to 3.0 GHz with useful attenuation extending to 18 GHz. The acrylic base contains zero silicone, ensuring no silicone oil migration or contamination risk.

At 0.040″ thick, this is the material to use when maximum absorption per layer is the priority. It delivers the highest attenuation of any single-layer US Series thickness, making it the best choice for stubborn cavity resonances and applications where a few extra dB make the difference between pass and fail. Thinner options are available at 0.010″ and 0.020″ when enclosure clearance is tighter. US Series materials can also be stacked to provide additional attenuation at low frequencies.
