The CB Series 0.100″ thick RF absorber material is the thickest standard option in the CB Series line of iron-loaded silicone elastomer absorbers. Optimized for the S and lower C bands (3.0 to 5.0 GHz), it delivers the strongest low-frequency absorption of any CB Series thickness.

At 0.100″ thick, this is the material to use when cavity resonance occurs at the lower end of the C band or in larger enclosures where resonant frequencies drop below 5 GHz. Thinner options at 0.090″, 0.080″, 0.060″, and 0.040″ shift peak absorption to higher frequencies for smaller cavities. For applications requiring a non-silicone alternative, consider the US Series acrylic elastomer.
