The KB Series 0.042″ thick RF absorber material is an iron-loaded silicone elastomer optimized for the K band (18.0 to 27.0 GHz). Designed for superior cavity resonance reduction at mmWave frequencies, the KB Series targets 5G FR2 applications, Ka-band satellite communications, point-to-point backhaul links, and automotive radar systems.
The KB Series is available in a single standard thickness of 0.042″, which is the optimized formulation and thickness combination for peak absorption across the 18.0 to 27.0 GHz range. This covers the 5G n258 band (24.25 to 27.50 GHz) and the lower portion of the n257 band (26.50 to 29.50 GHz). For lower frequencies, see the KU Series (12.0 to 18.0 GHz). For higher frequencies, see the KA Series (27.0 to 40.0 GHz). For applications requiring a non-silicone alternative, consider the US Series acrylic elastomer.
