The LS Series 0.125″ thick RF absorber material is the thickest standard option in the LS Series line of iron-loaded silicone elastomer absorbers. Optimized for the L band (1.5 to 2.5 GHz), it delivers the strongest low-frequency absorption of any LS Series thickness.

At 0.125″ thick, this is the material to use when cavity resonance occurs at the lower end of the microwave spectrum in larger enclosures. It targets frequencies commonly used in GPS (L1/L2), cellular LTE low bands, and L-band satellite applications. Thinner options at 0.100″, 0.080″, 0.060″, and 0.040″ shift peak absorption to higher frequencies for smaller cavities. For applications requiring a non-silicone alternative, consider the US Series acrylic elastomer.
