The AF Series Broadband Foam 0.250″ thick RF absorber carries the highest carbon loading in the 3PB Solutions line of polyurethane foam absorbers. The homogeneous carbon loading attenuates electromagnetic energy through dielectric loss as the wave passes through the foam volume, providing broadband absorption from 1.0 to 40.0 GHz with no conductive backing required.

At 0.250″ thick with an 850 loading level, this material delivers -85 dB/in insertion loss at 10 GHz, the highest attenuation per inch of any standard AF Series product. It is the best choice when maximum absorption in minimum depth is the priority: isolation walls between RF systems, pre-compliance chamber lining, and enclosure treatment where a quarter inch is available. When clearance is tighter, the 0.125″ option fits half the depth; when lower frequencies dominate, the 0.500″ and 1.000″ options provide more total absorption per pass.
